1. Project Overview
We are building an innovative, community-driven travel web app where backpackers and travelers can share routes, locations, and survival tips in real-time.

The business strategy, product vision, and complete frontend design (HTML/CSS/JS) are ready.
Your role: technical ownership – backend architecture, database design, and implementing functionality while keeping the app fast, scalable, and maintainable.

2. Month 1 Scope of Work – “Core Engine”

We will focus on building the MVP’s foundational modules:

User Authentication & RolesSecure login system
3 roles:Standard User: read-only access
Verified User: can submit content
Moderator: approve/reject submissions
Dynamic Travel GuidesDatabase setup to store locations, routes, and survival tips
Integrate static HTML/CSS templates with backend to load guides dynamically
User Submission FormsEnable users to submit new locations via forms
Pending/approval workflow for Moderators

3. Workflow & Collaboration

Timeline & Step Planning

Please review the scope and provide a step-by-step timeline for Month 1, including estimated time per module.
Infrastructure & Accounts

All hosting, databases, and third-party services will be under my business accounts.
You will advise on what’s needed (e.g., AWS, Vercel, DigitalOcean), I will purchase/set up accounts, and provide full developer access.
Communication & Learning

Two weekly syncs (short meetings) to review progress and explain technical decisions in plain English.
Goal: I want to understand backend foundations and database connections.
Frontend vs Backend Flexibility

Frontend: public-facing HTML/CSS must remain unchanged.
Backend/Admin: full freedom to design efficiently and functionally.
Code Collaboration & Staging

Shared GitHub repository for regular commits.
Live staging link every Friday for visual progress review.
