Project Description

We are looking for an experienced React Native developer to convert an existing React web app into a fully published iOS and Android mobile application. This app is Bible-related and includes a chat-style interface powered by our API.

This project is for developers who have successfully shipped real apps — not demos or mockups — to the App Store and Google Play.

Mandatory Requirement:

You must provide at least one live app link that you personally built and published.
Screenshots, Figma designs, or demo videos do not qualify.
Developers without live apps should not apply.
Must be able to set up a secure Node.js backend proxy to protect API keys (no keys stored in the app).

Project Scope:

Rebuild an existing React web app in React Native (Expo)
Package and deploy to iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play)
Connect securely to our backend via Node.js API proxy
Implement chat-style interface powered by our API
Optimize app for clean, responsive mobile UX

Requirements:

Proven experience shipping live apps to App Store or Google Play
Strong React Native and Expo expertise (EAS Build a plus)
Ability to create and configure Node.js backend proxy
Familiarity with chat/messaging UI components
Strong communication, efficiency, and ability to deliver on time
