About the Role:
We are a London-based digital agency seeking an experienced SEO strategist for project-based work, with potential for an ongoing retainer. The focus is on service-led businesses in education and childcare, where organic visibility drives enquiries and conversions.
What We Need:
Full ownership of SEO strategy and execution
Focus on business outcomes, not just rankings
Key Responsibilities:
Technical SEO – audits, redirect management, schema markup, canonical tags, Core Web Vitals, Search Console
Local SEO – Google Business Profile optimisation, local citations, NAP consistency, local schema
Content Strategy – keyword research, topic cluster architecture, on-page optimisation, content briefs
Link Building – backlink gap analysis, outreach, DR growth strategy
AI/LLM Search Optimisation – structure content to surface in ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.
WordPress Implementation – hands-on technical execution
Analytics & Reporting – GA4, Looker Studio, Search Console reporting, focused on leads/conversions
Requirements:
Proven experience with education, childcare, or premium trust-based service sectors (or comparable)
Demonstrable results: traffic growth, ranking improvements, DR increases, lead impact
Ability to audit, prioritise, and create actionable roadmaps
